Wow, talk about better late than? Jack Sheridan here. Have no idea why i'
m roaming around the 'net checking out radio stuff. I see Curtis Leeds' ge
nerous comments. Thanks Curtis. Brother, I'm so glad we're friends. Y'all,
he and I became pals as I brought people to work mornings on WYSL, and the
n when Cap Cities corporate folks played with Freddie Klestine and Fred hea
ded to the Lesniak's at WADV (proved to be a great move and i was so happy
for him...always loved the man and his talent. Real class. Anyhow, to lay
out the travel log after KB........i followed Fred to WADV. To this day,
classy big band music is so much of who i am musically. After Buffalo, it
was wife, son and me off to Baltimore for three years rocking' with Big 60,
WCAO and then southbound to Winston Salem, NC for a real short stint with
Fresh-Air WAIR, which led to a run to the Mississippi River in "The Quad Ci
ties" (Moline, IL - Davenport, IA) and my 'good time goodmornin' wake up sh
ow' on then WQUA, then KSTT then to Des Moines and two years hosting mornin
gs on talk-giant WHO-1040AM..... and finally back to Quad Cities for a doz
en years with WLLR-FM country where I started singing country throughout ou
r River-region with The Bandits band. The train stopped in 1998. Leaving d
aily full-time on-air work was sooooo hard (as I'm sure it is for all of us
mic-folks). ~~~ So that's it. My Buffalo time remains so memorable. Daw
n and I birthed Scotty there. Time flew by. I worked around so many talen
ted people. May God bless you readers who find this blurb. I'm movin'
forward. Later...........
